Does anybody still use this anymore?
I've converted to Tumblr. (Visit me!
http://twotwentythree.tumblr.com) I felt that it was a better mode of blogging, and it's quite different from regular blogging... but I still check Xanga from time to time to see if anybody updated. I remember when Xanga used to be "in," and then came Myspace... then Facebook... now there's Twitter. (which pretty works like a Facebook status update) I wonder what the next mode of social networking will be.
What else is new? I just got back on vacation from Florida with the boyfriend, which was a much needed getaway since I didn't really have much of a summer at all. (I took both sessions of summer classes, so 2 months of summer was dedicated to school) Besides that, I've been working. I've been spending too much money these days, and I have a load of things to pay for... (for example: car, insurance, textbooks, parking pass, credit card bills, etc.) it doesn't help that it's been a little slow at work due to the economy. As much as I want to shop and blow my money on clothes, makeup, and accessories, I think twice before making a purchase. Money is tight these days, and I need to learn how to conserve.
Besides that, there is not much of anything going on. This week is DC Restaurant Week so I'll be going to 3 places (Sei, Vermilion, and Hook) which all got good reviews. Classes also started today so I'll have to get adjusted to sleeping earlier and waking up earlier. I also have to develop better study habits and time management skills... and I need to start my application for GMU. I'm not really looking forward to this semester (18 credits, boo!) and I don't plan to go out often so I can study and stay focused...
P.S. Aileen Wang, I have ALL the time in the world for you! I'll see you tomorrow at Bon Chon!
